Tamai

What makes Tamai different from other grids? Here are a few noteworthy features:

Primservers

Prims can exchange email with eachother, as well as answer inbound http requests.

Script state is holy

"We don't break userland" is a famous quote of Linus Torvalds. Tamai doesn't break your scripts. Even hypergrid visitors will notice their attached HUDs, AOs, etc. function correctly.

Full RLV support

Users' #RLV folder is fully functional, with both accept and decline working as it should. Collar users will see improved avatar movement.

Unicode profiles

Pretty up your profile (including picks) with unicode art and emoji's like 💕 or ✨. Emoji's can also be used in chat.

IP Protection

Permissions on your creations can't be 'godmoded' by Tamai residents. Rezzed 'Take Copy' objects can only be copied by friends whom you grant 'modify' rights.

Smooth navigation

Navigate with your mouse at the same full speed as the keyboard. Click and hold the primary mouse button on your avatar, then click and hold the secondary button at the same time to walk. Doubleclick-hold secondary button to run. Steering happens with moving the mouse left/right/up/down. Works for swimming and flying too.

Improved groups

Editing roles, changing tags, and group-only scripts are much improved over upstream OpenSim.

Hyper friends notifications

On Tamai, online and offline notifications with your hypergrid friends always work reliable.

18+ parcels

You can limit access to your land to local avatars that are 18+ verified, to keep minors and/or hypergridders out.

Sim sharing, not sim isolation

Residents have their own parcel on sims shared with other people, rather than isolating them on a desolated var-region.

Privacy guarantee

We don't log or monitor conversations or poke around in inventories.

Self-moderation

Each user already has the tools to deal with bad situations: just block or derender the bugger, or ban them if it happens in your parcel.

Informal & personal

Tamai is small scale and stays that way. Help is always available.
